Chamber Meetings

General Membership Meetings are held at noon on the third Wednesday of each month excluding July and August. The Board of Directors meets the first Wednesday of each month.

Upcoming meetings:

1. Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Fratelli's.  Guest speaker is Fruitland City Manager Rick Konrad.
2. Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Uno's.

At each general membership meeting, two businesses will present information about their companies. Chamber Events

• The Annual Banquet is held in November. The Community Recognition awards are presented each year at the Banquet. A silent auction is held to benefit the Chamber general fund.

• The Annual Easter Parade is held every year in the Spring is coordination with the Fruitland Easter Egg Hunt at the Recreation Park.  There is an entry contest for non-profit youth groups.  The Easter Parade is typically scheduled for the Saturday a week prior to Easter.

• The Annual Christmas Lighting ceremony is held at City Hall.  

• The Basket Bingo fundraiser benefits the Chamber and the scholarship fund.  The Basket Bingo is held at the Fruitland Fire Department on a Saturday evening in the Spring. 

• A day of Salvation Army Bell Ringing is sponsored by the Fruitland Chamber at the Wal-Mart in Fruitland. 

• The Chamber hosts a candidates forum during City of Fruitland Council elections, which are held every two years.  The 2010 candidates forum will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 7 pm at City Hall.
